Professor, National Institute of Applied Sciences (INSA) οf Rouen, France

Dany Vandromme has been professor of Computational Fluid Dynamics at the National Institute for Applied Sciences in Rouen since 1988 (www.insa-rouen.fr).

From 1998 to 2011, he has been the director of the French National Research and Education Network (www.renater.fr). In parallel, he was head of the Research Infrastructure Unit in the French Ministry of Higher Education and Research from 2006 to 2010.

Dany Vandromme held many positions at national and European level (ESFRI, e-IRG, FP7 Programme committees, etc.).

He founded a consultancy company (www.panache-conseil.fr) in 2011, before coming back to INSA as professor in 2013.

He served also as expert for the European Commission for the FP6 and FP7 actions. He belongs also to the H2020 Research Infrastructure Expert Advisory Group since October 2013.
